I’ve been saying for the last couple months that our tea party will be concentrating on state and local issues. The reason being, I see little hope for our federal government to get the nation back on the right track. The Executive Branch has been acting like a tyrannical oligarchy, the Legislative Branch has been acting like a rubber stamp for the Executive Branch, and the Judicial Branch has been legislating from the bench by inserting liberal ideology in their rulings, while the Legislative Branch has been accepting the Court’s unconstitutional rulings as new law. This says nothing about the affects K Street is having on politicians in Washington. Our only hope to preserve Liberty is to influence the state legislature in such a way that they take a firm stand on the Tenth Amendment, and tell the federal government “We are a sovereign state and will not abide by unconstitutional edicts”. But what it does say is that when any government — including ours — becomes destructive to these ends, We the People who give government the power to secure these rights have...
