Members, The race for governor is on, and there are several candidates competing for that title. The winner of the race will set the state’s agenda for the next four years, so it’s important for you to know who the candidates are in order to make an informed decision at the ballot box. We will be hosting our first candidate guest, Kay White, Thursday, Nov. 16th. Being a Christian conservative, she’s been involved in grass roots politics for a number of years. If you haven’t heard by now that Rep. Scalise and other republicans were shot today by a gunman who reportedly fired anywhere from 30 to 60 rounds ( depending on the report), you need to get out from under your rock. Thankfully, Capitol Police were able to neutralize the shooter before an absolute slaughter took place. And as I write this, it’s reported that the shooter is now taking his eternal dirt nap. But that’s not why I’m writing this. Initially, few in the media speculated on the shooter or his motive.
