Meet the Candidates

The Sevier County Tea Party is happy to host two candidates for two seats at their March 15th meeting.

Amy Williams, a lifelong resident of Sevier County, is running for County Commission District 3 seat A. She is seeking to represent more than 8,000 county residents, and will have a direct impact on your taxes, zoning, and other relevant county business.
Our other guest will be Scott Williams who is seeking to be your next state senator. As a relative unknown, Scott ran for the seat two years ago as a staunch conservative against the incumbent Doug Overbey, garnering over 40% of the vote. He is now running to fill the last remaining years of Overbey’s seat, now that Overbey has been appointed East TN U.S. Attorney.
Please join us on the third floor of the Sevier County Courthouse starting at 6:30 p.m. to hear both candidates who, if they win, will have a direct impact on your lives and liberty.
